There are so many people from America and the UK that have helped me smile. They include Cher Lloyd, One Direction, Demi Lovato, and Taylor Swift. These people are being super famous but they are also a lot like you and me. In this blog post, I am going to talk about Cher Lloyd and Demi Lovato.

Demi Lovato is 19 years old and she is hitting her career high. When she was in the 7th grade, she was bullied. Last year during an interview with 20/20, she said that she has had a “really unhealthy relationship with food” ever since she was a little girl because of more bullying. When she was 11, she started cutting her wrists because of depression and girls at school. She said “They called me a wh*** and told me I was fat and ugly. I shouldn’t have listened, but I took it to heart and it hurt. I thought maybe I didn’t have friends because I was too fat.” She would make herself sick everyday. Her mom was worried s0 she earned her high school diploma through home schooling.  Here is a video of her talking about being bullied:

She started her acting career with Barney and Friends where she met her long-time friend Selena Gomez.  When she was older, she audtioned for the Disney Channel movie Camp Rock. She received the lead role and she got to work with Joe Jonas and the rest of the Jonas Brothers. In 2008, she got her own Disney Channel show, Sonny with a Chance. Later that year, she was in Princess Protection Program with Selena Gomez. In September 2009, she started working on Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam. Now she has three albums out. Her first one was Don’t Forget. Her second one was Here We Go Again. Her third one is Unbroken. Off of all three albums I have three favorites, La La Land, Here We Go Again, and Give Your Heart A Break. Cher Lloyd is 18 years old and from England. She was 16 when she auditioned for the British X-Factor. She was on the same season as now big British boy-band and hearthrob of many teenage girls, One Direction. She placed fourth in the finale. After the finale, she was signed to the Syco record label. Her first single, Swagger Jagger, was released on July 31, 2011. Her first album “Sticks and Stones”  was released in November of 2011. This album comes out in the US sometime in September. “With Ur Love” was her second single released. Her third and final song, which I love, is “Want U Back”. If you want to hear this song, click on this link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LPgvNlrBfb0  Cher Lloyd speaks out about being cyberbullying. I admire her for that. She said “I’m public property and there’s nothing I can do — I have got to deal with it. The message that I have got for people is: I have always tried to act the hard person and that was just a front for me. It is about time now that I let people realise that I am a real person and if I can do it, with all these people that want a piece of me, then other victims can speak out as well. There have been many times when I have cried myself to sleep. I am very scared because I like to think people think I’m strong, because if they don’t, then they might not think I can do it.” She thinks that governments should take more action against cyberbullying

These two girls should be inspiration for others. I can not wait to listen to Cher Lloyd’s new album.
